So, long story short, how do i remove Amazon Assistant? I have tried uninstalling Amazon Assistant from the Programs and Features tab in the Control Panel, however this only gives me the Change option. However now each time i start up i keep getting adds from it in Internet Explorer 11 which has become a bit of a nuisance. Didn't really think much of it before since apps like these are common with windows 10 and i just ignored it and unpinned it from my task bar. After i started up my pc running windows 10 today i realised a new program had been "installed" on my pc called "Amazon Assistant".
